Create an audiobook
Import a manuscript, review its chapter plan, assign voices, and render long-form audio locally.
Create an audiobook
Open Audiobook when a long manuscript needs chapter planning, resumable generation, and book metadata.
1. Import and structure
Import a .txt, .md, .epub, or .pdf file, paste your manuscript, or use
Load sample to learn the format. Review detected chapters and correct the
script before generation. Markdown headings can define chapters; voice tags,
pauses, and other supported markup can direct the reading.
2. Prepare the book
Choose the default voice and language, then review Cast, Pronunciation, Markup, Output, and Cover & details. Use the pronunciation list for names and specialist terms. Select Preview plan and audition material from more than one chapter.
3. Render and verify
Select Create audiobook and leave VoiceStudio open while the plan renders. The workflow keeps reusable intermediate work so an interrupted long render can resume without starting every finished segment again.
Before delivery, check chapter order, joins, pronunciation, silence, and the opening and closing of the exported M4B or MP3 files.
Review imported text
PDF extraction can preserve headers, page numbers, or broken lines. Clean the script and preview the plan before starting a long render.
